Ingredients:
2 cups sliced onions
2 tsp minced garlic
1—16 oz can fat-free beef broth
1—16 oz can fat-free chicken broth
1 bay leaf
Fresh ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a non-stick pan over medium high heat, stir fry onion and
garlic until the onions are tender and caramelized. A few
drops of water may be added as needed to prevent the
onions from scorching. When the onions are tender, add the
two cans of broth, the bay leaf and the fresh ground black
pepper. Bring the soup to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer
for 10 minutes. Serve 8 ounces in a warm bowl and
enjoy.
